Basically, I have been playing cod4 for the past week. I can't open the ports that cod4 needs on my router because my dad wont tell me the password to it so I can't get in to it. I can live without the ports because when nobody is downloading I can seem to play online perfect. The thing is other people in my home have started downloading and the past few days my connection has been so bad if I get in to games I lag so much that I just leave, or what happens is it searches for a game then ends up making me the host of a game and nobody joining. This is really annoying me because for the past two months I have been playing perfect, and now I can't really. I'll get like 3 hours worth of playtime if that with no lag or problems a day. So what do you sugest I can do? Should I buy one of those ethernet plug things that I plug in the wall and connect to my ps3 or doesn't that work, what can you sugest that will make me get better connection?
