Stinging Eye

Okay, I'm worried about my mums eye. There is this huge lump on the eyelid. It started off as a little lump (The kind you get when you've just scratched yourself and then a red bump appears in a line where you scratched), and then over the days, it just sorta got worse. She went to the doctors to get some medicine, but it's become worse since then.It's like red on the outside and it looks like it might be yellow on the inside. I wouldn't normaly ask if she'd gone to the Doctors but it's starting to worry me. Plus it just started stinging today and she put a dry teabag on to soothe it.

Any ideas of what it could be?

my friend had a lump in her eye lid aswell and she had to go and get it remove i don't think it was causing her any bother though, I would tell your mum to give the doctors another call and see what they can do becasue the medican is obv having no affect on it what so ever

Sounds like an eye infection, if it gets worse you should go back to the doctors- they will probably prescribe antibiotics or something similar.
Btw did she get the infection by scratching it?

Yeah definitely go to the doctors if the medicine isn't helping and she's starting to get pain from it. It could be a syte but then again it could be worse.

100% agree, only will a doctor be able to tell you whats actually wrong.
