Well Leona Lewis got through because she oversang somewhere over the rainbow and told them it was for her family who died or something so they put her through out of guilt. Diana Vickers got put through because she's a backcombed spotty emo so she'd commit suicide if she didn't get through. It's all planned you see.

Obviously. Hardly anyone would watch it if it wasn't funny. Half decent singers get denied the opportunity because of it.

Anyone who goes sing REALLY REALLY badly. Then you get a ticket to the final (you get offered to sing on stage), you get on the X Factor DVD's, and you get taken the piss out of on the street.

2 of my mates went last year and they are both amazing singers but one got told no at the first audition in front of the university student, no reason just no, the second one got through all four stages (sing, sing, interview, sing) to the judges and the judges told her no because she was too young.

It pointless going really, if you're serious about it go when your a little older.
