I tried when I was little, but though I can see an appeal to it, I got into other hobbies instead- I collected stamps because I had lots of penfriends from all over the world and the stamps were interesting. Perhaps I shouldn't have thrown them away.

So do I, if someone brings a foreign coin into work (bakery) and it looks good, i'll normally give the bosses the equivalent in Aussie coins..

I've got a few pounds, a sixpence(??), quarters, kiwi coins, fiji coins, etc.

    Its interesting collecting stuff.
