I used to be scared of rides but went onto the Rockin rollacoaster at Disney World (not knowing what it really was) and have been hooked since

So I guess you could ask your friends to blind fold you until your strapped in?
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.

just think it wouldn't be there if it wasn't safe + and you'll probably regret not going on it if you don't.

Don't be put off by the Corkscrew, thankfully they've got rid of it now but for someone who's scared of roller coasters it would be awful, it looks tame compared to others but because it's so old it's so noisy, uncomfortable and you do get smashed around on it a lot.

The likes of Oblivion, Nemesis and Air are all very smooth rides, you don't get smashed around at all, and because you're strapped in from above on Nemesis and Air, if you're not at the front you don't know what's coming which I find lessens the tension a bit, though I guess it could serve the opposite feeling.

This is difficult but try not to see what happens in the ride, just go on it, then be surprised at what happens

I just said to myself that if I don't go on the ride i'll never know what it's like, so I may aswell try, and if I like it I'll go on it again and again If I don't I know I don't like it and have an excuse.

You have to push yourself through it, when I went to thorpe park a couple of years ago I squished my fear for roller coasters, I went on collossus, nemisis, detinator, rush, all the bigger rides and loved it and then when stealth opened i was straight in there wich I would never have been before hand.

I used to be the biggest chicken going. I wouldn't go on anything. Then when I was 10 I went to Flamingo Land and went on the ride that blasts you into the air and loved it although it did scare me. That's the thrill though so.

I promised from then on I'd have to go on the biggest ride in every themepark and I have ever since, and loved every one of them.

I just took it a step at a time and not thought of the outcome. Like I'd just stand in the queue and have a laugh with my family/friends. Then just get strapped in. Then it hits you and that's the thrill so just enjoy that feeling.
