I'll see what I can do to improve the departments uses of their allowance - in particular Events and Competitions as I think the other departments have pretty much established their own uses for it.

I don't see the point in continuing with VIP as prizes because if though departments have allowances it'll still be minority of members who have it. I think some features should be kept for VIP (ie seeing rep givers) but something major like the Arcade should be open to all in my opinion.

It is given out its just difficult to see as its split up. Here are some examples.

- Member of the Month - 6/8 subscriptions given out each month
- Competitions - Several subscriptions given out each month
- HabboxLive - Up to I believe 8 subscriptions given out each month
- Events - Several subscriptions given out each month (more when special events occur)
- HxHD - VIP given out for quizzes, I believe a couple each month
- Rare Values - Planned to have weekly or biweekly competitions with rare values trivia to win VIP.

So I think the target is to give out about 50 subscriptions monthly.

Well VIP will become more of a way to gain things quickly than a special thing. so most things including the arcade will be achievable by way of the star system but if you're VIP you would get that immediately.

The only problem I have with using the star system as a way of unlocking things is that it may encourage people to post pointlessly more often and then there's the issue of off putting new members who will have a long way to go to earn it.

On the flip side, it is a great way to encourage more usage of the forum but I guess the moderators would have to ensure that this usage wasn't pointless.
