what big companys do the pass promise thing with the tests? i thought AA did but not sure

Private is cheaper, but not always better. There's good and bad private instructors as well as good and bad that work for the larger schools.

I learnt with BSM and my instructor was awesome.

Maybe, but they also charge about 7 quid more than private instructors. Just go with an instructor a friend has recommended or something.

I knew the instructor, so he did my lessons on "family rate" which was £18 per hour. Normally they would have been £23 per hour :S.
