I disagree. A lot of the stuff in there isn't self-explanatory or common sense. It has information on how it's different to ordinary flu, the drugs used to treat it and what the government are doing. It also answers useful questions like whether face marks are useful, or if there is a vaccine. It will be useful for people who don't follow the news regularly, or elderly/vulnerable people. The leaflet also contains information on contact numbers etc, and will be useful for people to refer to later on. There are probably many people out there that don't know the exact symptoms of flu either.
A lot of the stuff in there about how to stop it from spreading is common sense though, but how many people actually do it? Not many. Most people who sneeze or cough probably do it in their hands, and don't bother washing them after or they use keep reusing a hanky/piece of tissue.
