GCSE Maths Paper 1

I did a higher one. One where you had to shade the region 4cm from B, but closer to AB then AC.

I did that one - that's Edexcel GCSE Mathematics Modular (not linear as so many people seem to think!).

I thought it was rather tough.

with the edexcel one i just found there was barely any algebra and there wasnt much on there that you could really revise for
it was different to other mocks!

I did AQA higher it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, the only question I had a real problem was the very last one about the height of the cone, I could work out the radius fine it was just the height ;[
Maybe I'll get myself a mark by copying the forumula from the front of the paper to the question *crosses fingers*

and for the person who questioned me writing the word porn in the exam - we had to create a questionaire asking what type of magazines people were interested in

No need to be so ignorant. Just because you find maths easy doesn't mean everyone does so even if it was foundation somepeople might find it hard. Does anyone have any links to GCSE Maths past papers? I do it for AS but can't remember at all what the GCSE papers were like.

Sorry for that post. My brother was on my computer last night doing his homework when I'd already gone to bed since I have an early exam today (bio prac) and made that post.

Oh come on, paper 1 is foundation. Has to be easy.

no lol each paper can be done in either tier. Also is this Module 5 or Mod 1 because year 10s have mod 1 coming up aswell.

I know, but it's calculator, so it will probably either have complicated sim. equations which suck, most probably not surds (i'll be surprised if there are!), but there should be vectors, as there weren't any on this paper.

It missed out basically everything!!
