It was ontopic, he was saying aww at the fact that ukchaseral had left, just because he didnt write a speech about it, if you couldnt understand that then thats your problem not his, and tbh no need to edit his post, silly mods

ontopic: He was an alright staff member, didnt really hear as much about him as other staff members so not really that bothered

    UKchaserAl Memories
    12-May-2009 (13:38)
Having worked with Habbo for almost 5 years, UKchaserAl was the longest serving member of Habbo UK Staff, ever. He joined a small team of Habbo Staff which included Smash, Glitterkat, Callie, Dionysus and Jay. A Very different team to the one that serves you today, but equally dedicated and able in every way, shape and form.

Dionysus often recalled the day that UKchaserAl "waltzed into the Habbo UK Office and requested a job". Although it worked, I don't recommend you try it! This was a long time ago and UKchaserAl was a very rare breed indeed. As was Smash, the person that, give or take a few minutes, pretty much instantly gave him a job.

Unfortunately we have no record of what UKchaserAl did in his first week, but I do know that one of his very first tasks was to help us move office from one side of the Business Design Centre, to the other. We could have hired removal men, but Smash preferred the "team building" (something that was later called "table and filing cabinet buidling"). Exactly one week later, I started work at the Habbo UK Office. Below is just a handful of the things that UKchaserAl did during his 5 years, focusing on the things that would have impacted on you the most.

    Celebrity Visits
Well.. where do I start? We've had a huge amount of celebrity visits over the years and countless artists calling us up trying to get an audience with you. At one point we had so many we simply couldn't fit them all in and to turn some down. This was quite painful in some cases! I can't say who we had to say no too, as you'd hunt Al down and demand an explanation!

McFly, Sugababes, Jamelia, Akon, The ting Tings, Ozzy Osbourne (with Sharron there watching too), The Subways, DJ Ironik, Bullet For My Valentine, The Automatic, Lily Allen, The Gorillaz... the list truly does go on. I think I got most of the big names out there though. Although the entire team inevitably is hugely involved in the Celebrity Visits (we're only a small team afterall), UKchaserAl did a huge amount of work towards all of these visits, doing all of the behind scenes work that is needed to make these things run smoothly.

    Some of the rest...
Fairtrade Chocolate is now served in Habbo Hotel UK, thanks to UKchaserAl. You can pick some up from the Ice Cafe. Various competitions have been organised and run in Habbo including, G Nation, FRANK, NSPCC, Underage Festival, HMF Neon and the original Traxfactor.

Aside from being popular amongst all of you, he was also very popular in the Habbo Office. I have enjoyed working with him immensely over the past 'nearly 5 years' and I hope that you will join me in thanking him and wishing him the best of luck with his future endeavours.

Please post your comments and memories below.

If there is confirmed, then its sad to see Alister go.
He was such a good asset to the Habbo Community, helped me with my marketing inside Habbo, price ranges and systems etc.

Its a shame to see him go, such a legend.

It's true, look at the Habbo UK Staff group + Hotel Manager's NewsLetter forum, it's got stuff on his departure.
