Woah, they should get rid of that I think? Yeah I get your point but then everyone complains saying "more kids should be taught about sex education at a younger age" or "lower the legal age" but then nobody takes any notice of it so people are just wasting their breath. It's silly really. Guess it's like under-age drinking and smoking.

Yeah, that's just one of many laws that aren't imposed and never will be. I know under age sex is different but I think by the age of 15 people are conscious of what they're doing. At the school that is attached to the 6th form I go to it has recently come to light that 10 pupils who attend are pregnant. One of them being in year 8 which means they're either 12 or 13, that's vile. Our school is supposedly one of the worst in the country for teenage pregnancies and there is going to be a documentary about it soon.

Hrm, it is odd. Most are but then you still get some who think nothing will happen so they take the risk anyway. Ah gross, how can anyone put themselves and their family through that. It's greedy and unfair. Haha wow, your school must be full of horny kids then, I'll be sure not to miss it ol:.

Aha, although I'm 17 I do find it weird that some of my friends in my year have their kids, lol.

The last time I heard, sex education was part of the problem, when being taught at a younger age? It sort of encourages children to think about sex and to think about having sex, rather than to inform. It's like art theory, no-one wants to learns anything, they just want to do it for themselves. If they don't need to have sex, then they don't need to be told about it. Like learning to drive, you get taught that when you're 17 (maybe earlier). Why? Because you don't need to know about it because, heck, what's the point being taught something you don't really need to know until later on?

If anything, sex education needs to be dumbed down - just teach kids about reproduction with a quick "If I pick you up, Johnny, and you up, Sandra, and rub you together, we get babies".

I've never had sex education throughout compulsory education. We had a "puberty talk" in like year 5, that's it.

How on earth did you get so screwed up then?

I got taught sex education in my school, they had videos but thankfully I had to go to some group out of school so didn't get to see them Plus I found out about sex from somewhere, so it didn't really effect me. Perhaps what the school board or whatever runs the education in this dump we call a country could do some research into what needs to be done.
