Default Small goal Numero 1 - 80 str

So i got 99 fishing, i stopped at 70 hunter because i find it horrifically boring so i decided to set smaller goals from now on i am going for 80 strength : currently 61 at time of posting

all i need is a good method, i did do soul wars but that took 2 week from 60 to 70 attack so no thanks, i find rock crabs rather tedious and boring, any other effective methods of training strength? and what items to use?, i sold all my armour to buy a whip, but i could fish sharks a week straight to make some money to buy the armour, please give me tips , Thanks

Slayer is a good way to train combat. There's lots of variety so you won't get bored.

If you're looking for exp though, Yaks on Neitznot are good exp, but you need to complete The Fremminik Isles quest, and since you find Rock Crabs boring, you'll probably find Yaks boring as well.

The Stronghold of Security has some good monsters to train on as well with some good drops. There's Flesh Crawlerrs on Level 2 which drop lots of herbs and runes, and Ankous on Level 4 which drop level 3 clue scrolls and lots of runes as well.

As for armour, you should buy a dragon scimitar or dragon longsword to train strength with. If you can be bothered, get a rune defender and a fighter torso from Barbarian Assault. If you can't be bothered to go to Barbarian Assault, you could buy some barrows armour like torags or Dharok. Dragon platelegs are also good to use, along with dragon boots and a Neitznot helmet.

All of this can only be used if you're 70 Defence though - if your lower.. then I guess rune would be the best.
