Team Fortress 2 - The Sniper update

For those of you who play TF2, the first new weapon for the sniper has been posted on the developers blog.

Looks pretty good, although some information isn't very clear. It mentions it pins dying players, which could mean you can pin someone who has been set on fire and then they would burn whilst been pinned? It's abit unclear but it looks like we'll be getting the update either this week on the next.

Yeah, it does leave alot of unanswered questions.

The blog has been updated with day 2's updates. There's new game mode, payload race which if you recall was shown in the background of an image from the scout update. There's also two new arena maps, to be honest with you I don't see why Valve are wasting their time with the arena. It's not all that popular.

That's ******* gay, you can't get the new sniper and spy weapons from achievements, you get given them randomly when playing a game..

I got them boxing gloves and ambassador so far want a hat

This is echoed through most of the TF2 community. Even more annoying still, you can still get the Heavy, Medic, Scout and Pyro weapons through the achievements aswell as drops. Why couldn't they have done this for the Spy and Sniper?

I've almost got them all, just need the dead ringer now. No hats yet but a friend of mine has found the Sniper one, pretty jealous .

Looks cool, I've got into PC gaming again so I've been playing TF2 a little bit, are bow and arrows random for the sniper?
