If you're not comfortable with speaking loudly, try and speak more clearly instead.

I have this problem at work. I tend to mumble a bit and my accent is a weird one so when I am on the phone or speaking to people I put on a posher accent and really pronounce everything.

Feels daft at first but really helps.

Just take your time when you're talking and project your voice

i'm the complete opposite, i speak too loud, when i whisper it sounds like i'm doing a stage whisper and i don't even notice .

Way i get around it in talking in a way that i think is slightly too quiet but it's actually normal so maybe you should talk slightly too loud?
