as you can probably gather its about my girlfriend

basically we knew each other generally from school and stuff, and then we ended up sharing a bed at this house party (we didnt do anything

); got talking properly for like a month after and then i asked her out in january, then she dumped me a day after; but we kinda stayed close still and we got together again in april. no one at all supported it and thought we wouldnt last. but well over 2 months later we're still happily together =] it doesnt sound long but i do feel really close to her and love her. really glad i didnt listen to my mates, they still have doubt in us, but as time goes on we shall prove them wrong

sounds a tad sad but am just curious

Yes quite often. I find rock songwriters to be the best in the world at their craft. Their music actually has meaning.

uhmmm not really. i mean i really like lyrics and stuff but i rarely if ever strongly relate myself to music. i just like good music i guess.

You're right rock songs have so much meaning all the time.

Hah, no I don't mean Rob Zombie and similar "artists". Obviously not all rock. But the best songwriting that I have seen is in that genre, performed by vocalists who can actually sing, unlike Mr. Zombie, like Adam Gontier from Three Days Grace.

Alot of Plain White T's song describe some of the situations I've been in to a tee... It's pretty freaky actually. I love them for it though, same as Maroon 5. I do love those :']
