It depends, id say a long kiss would be more intimate that a quick ****, but then if its meaningful sex then that would be more intimate than a quick kiss.

Lol, I love how only about 50% of the guys said sex is more intimate. I was expecting girls to say that and almost no guys to.

Anywho, I definitely think kissing is more intimate. You can have sex with anyone, and even use it as a buffer against real intimacy. But kissing, especially in public proclaims that you really like them and that you want people to know. Thats why it seems more intimate to me.. Even though its true, even kisses can be meaningless sometimes..

Hard question really, one that I've been pressured into answering. Truthfully, not just saying this to sound good, but I think kissing the right person, somebody you really care about, thats more intimate than sex. It's the feeling of having a connection with the person you are kissing which is what makes it such a rush of blood to the head. Nevermind sex, sex can come later because this feeling comes naturally. Sex is more primative, you dont get the same intimate feeling.

I mean, a first kiss, its like the most intimate sort of moment ever. Kissing takes two people, its like uniting with someone and that other person being willing to. Sex just isnt like that, sex you can just sit down and be like meh whilst someone does all the hard work. But then... Sex can be intimate, depending on the scene and the mood. I guess its all about capturing the moment.

I'd say kissing though, for arguments sake. I'm going on this from experience (I aint had sex yet, but I'm in no hurry).

For me, kissing is deffo the time I feel closest to my partner, sometimes sex can be intimate but your mind is only on one thing, whereas if your kissing, you can get close and touch and stufffff.

Sex is only intimate when you actually like the person, being in a relationship etc. so it depends on the situation really, however, hmmm, i'd have to say kissing, not sure why, then again I enjoy kissing during sex so I guess it's personal preference obviously. But I have never been one for one night stands so that's probably why I find both as intimate as eachother.

@Interact: What's so great about it? Sex is just sex, some might be a little rougher, or a little more pleasuring in the end, but after all it's all just the same, just some little variations.
