what, because they were poor in the RB role? and I don't think they need a striker. I'm a fan of the "if it aint broke, don't fix it" method. Gerrard playing just behind torres works lovely. If anything, I think they need strength in the wings, especially right, meaning Kuyt can play as a striker, so they can give Ngog an early retirement.

I know, and I'm just stating Macheda scores important goals, he must be world-class yeah? Whatever, most people, including your own fans will say you need wingers. And if you want to say your squad is fine, you are severely mistaken. It's kind of accepted your depth in the squad isn't what United's is, so should you wish to carry on as per, no sales, no purchases; The best of luck to you my friend.

oh and about trying Babel upfront, i'll refer to my earlier post about Gerrard playing in behind Torres and being his best position and the best option for your team. I cant understand why you want to play 4-4-2. You have arguably the finest striker in the world paired with arguably the finest CM in the world (I know, Xavi, Iniesta, blah blah blah) and a winning formula. Yet you would want to change that, at the cost of a partnership every other Prem team would give everything to have?
