    that was in comparison to drogba. rooney acted nothing like drogba.

    it's all well and good not wanting to read the thread but it isn't good not reading the thread then jumping in and making yourself look stupid.

    I was re-inforcing a point that was made earlier on in the thread to show how much that point has value amongst the members of the forum - that's not stupid, that's what a forum is for in all honesty, Jacob. The fact is, Rooney acted inappropriately and disrespectfully and you protested United players' innocence to which you were wrong. Drogba didn't punch anything, showing signs of real aggression - something which Rooney did - inexcusable.

    Not as aggressive as a physical showing of aggression like Rooney's.

    Rooneys was at a flag, how is that aggressive? footballers punch the flag when they score goals (Cahill), is that aggressive?

    Drogba was VERY aggressive, he was swearing at the camera, and the referee actually looked physically shocked and scared because of all the abuse he was taking, especially from Drog and Ballack.
