Mr. Bay is going to be making a low-budget non-action film instead of a third Transformers film. He will attempt to show that he can make a film that doesn't contain a billion explosions, wafer-thin characters and one ounce of story.

Do you think there is a possibility of Mr.Spielberg taking on the third?

There's a possibility. But I would have thought he'd remain solely as Executive Producer.

I am now convinced they MUST make a Neon Genesis Evangelion movie. The special effects were amazing, and the action was at it's best. The sound editing was also top notch. There were a few things that annoyed me while watching the movie, but they were so minor I can no longer remember them. Great movie, loved it.

I got hooked up in continuity issues but liked it all the same. Also, what is the purpose of people using spoilers in this thread? The title in itself is a spoiler :/ Did anyone else notice that the weird scorpion that survived the first film had met its match in this film, though a brief part it played?

Also, what happened to the diddy robot? It went missing :S

I've just got back.. I was underwhelmed. It was wayyyy too long.

There was almost too much action really as daft as that sounds.. I got bored of watching them just punch each other over and over.

It's Michael Bay - there is always way too much action, because he simply can't do anything else.
