expect it to be close to $1000. (around £700), Because I can't see stuff like this coming cheap at all.

Still $150 FOR AN ADD-ON? they may as well just release it as a completely new console, and make 6x more profit.
I'm not paying those prices for an add-on though.

What idiot would do that? Microsoft have to wait a certain amount of years before they can release a new console and where did you get 6x more profit from? MS LOSE money with every 360 sold, they make money from the addons and game licensing.

It's like the Eyetoy and Wii Sensor Bar combined
It looks kinda fun, might justify a reason to get an Xbox is anything decent comes on it that isn't the typical stuff I don't really like. Saying that, how does it recognise braking and acceleration?
