If you have insurance then its going to get fixed. Take it to o2 and they will send it to apple OR you can drive to your apple show with the insurance stuff and they will do it there for you, free of course.
Just using their live chat.
They take ages to reply. :/
Just finished talking to one of their Live Help people, he tried to fob me off with some 0870 number which I could use to directly speak to a representitive to get my iPhone replaced, thank god for http://www.saynoto0870.com/
Free phone 0800 number for Apple Care UK for anyone who would need it is; 0800 0399901 and enter the extension 88802 to speak to a representative.
Thanks for all your help guys +REP to Mr.Android and Alkaz.
Thats ok, the glad you have insurance!
I'm really glad I got the crack on the back, dropped my iPhone for the first time ever today, had it for 7 months, now I have to scratches on the front screen and a black mark underneath the screen, phoned Apple today and the crack on the back is a "common design fault" and that I should arrange a meeting on the Apple website and go up Monday/Tuesday, and just say that I haven't dropped it and I'll get a replacement their and then.
Problem is, mines that 16GB black model, and the 16gb IPHONE 3G models are ment to be discontinued now that the 3GS is out...
Dunno what to think, should get a replacement either way though.
