    Default iPhone app development

    By September I hope to have 2 new apps released, the first is undisclosed and nearly done but the second is where you come in. I've developed a very basic 2D multiplayer environment and I really need some inspiring ideas to utilise it. Basically I want to develop the iPhones first real MMO (I am aware of the Watchmen MMO but it doesn't work properly) but I haven't got a theme, I don't want to go for the fantasy style because its way too overused but to create something new.

    Basically I'm needing some rough ideas to get me started and I thought where better to go than HabboxForums technology section where all of the users are ex-MMO players!

    So for example, these are the kind of ideas I need:
    -Pokemon style "monster" MMO
    -Shop keeper, trade based MMO

    Note: "Realtime" combat is not really possible, it would require too much power to keep track of all the objects on screen down to the millisecond

    That would be pretty cool but I'm thinking more of an MMO because I think there is a massive gap in the market there.

    What about running a shopping centre;

    From doing things like the bills (e.g how you do with rollercoaster tycoon where you have to do pay rolls for people such as cleaners)
    you hire out shop space ect?

    and then you can rent space in your mall (if you be an mall owner) to other people (if they select to be business people)

    I don't know if any of you remember SkyIsle but funnily enough that was just about the same as my original idea for it but I had to change it because my skills weren't up to scratch. I suppose now that I'm a better developer I could do it, cheers ross. I think ill go with that. +Rep all

    Unless he knows Java then coding for the G1 is pretty hard, he might also need an Android phone to dev test on incase the virtual one doesn't suffice.
