iPhone app development

I know a little Java but nowhere near enough to develop an app of this size and also the userbase is nowhere near that of the iPhone.

Heres my order of preference:
iPhone > PC (Flash app) > DS > Android phones

If it does have a significant amount of success then it is more than likely that I will port it over to PC and release it as a free flash app for those who have purchased the iPhone version. Anything other than iPhone or PC is extremely unlikely.

Whatever happens I'm developing for the iPhone OS first but out of intrest, how big is the Android userbase?

I meant roughly how many million users I honestly have no idea.

Yeh but Android is still a upcoming market, iPhone didnt get its success and customers because of reviews of iPhone, it got most of it market because of the success of the iPod and various other Apple hardware, while android is all for the inside of phones which deems it far more worthy tbh.

********. I was going to start developing this but I've just found out a similar game is being developed and under the same publisher! They dont want to compete with themselves obviously but I have something else to develop now anyway ^^.
