    Ok when i try to set up my webcam on msn it works fine when i am setting it up and i can see the picture clearly in the setup part

    (screenie below) (i blocked out picture but i can see it)

    But when i send a invite to someone it comes up all static??
    Anyone know how i can fix it?

    Is the webcam new? Check the wires are placed in properly, and correctly. Make sure the wire is not faulty.

    No its not new, the wires are pluged in and it has worked loads before

    How long have you had it for? Are the wires faulty?

    Its one wire, ive had it for about 2months and its like brand new.

    And you asking that is not helping.. i said i can see the image when setting it up but when i send cam invite it becomes static

    It should work fine. It's something to do within your PC, which i'm not sure about. Try reading the manual book, it should help.

    Well done for telling me its something to do with my PC, can someone else actually help?

    Also there is no manual, it a page and just explains setup.

    Go in to your Tools > Video and Audio setup and run that wizard again, if it doesn't help then make sure you have the webcam drivers and software installed (For e.g. if its Logitech the Quickcam software).

    I've run it about 10 times and it's installed because i checked an because i can see myself on Cam in the setup wizard, but when i send and invite it goes static :S
