Free Anti-Virus

I just got rid of MacAfee or how ever you spell it and was wondering if anyone knew any free anti-virus programmes?

Avast and AntiVir are both free, and both are brilliant

AVG is horrible and has a stupid detection rate.

AVG is a bit of a resource hog and avira has ads so I'd go with avast personally.
