How to Restore XP PC

How do I restore my XP computer from a CD? My laptops getting repaired and I really need a PC.

you can reset it to factory settings if you boot it up in safe mode, and if its a laptop im sure you do that by hitting f11 on start up.

I have a reinstallation XP disc

To wipe out your PC, and install a fresh copy of XP, simply put the CD into your drive, restart, then press F4 repeatedly. (Remember to delete all your old partitions for a fresh start).

Be sure to backup everything before you do this as you would lose literally everything.
