It's quite possible somebody's came up with this in the past, but I just thought of it and I love it.
A Furnidex would be a tool on Habbo like the Pokédex on Pokémon, opened via either a button under your avatar or just a command (e.g. :furnidex). For the latter, other people's could be displayed using :Robald:furnidex or how ever it's done.
Anyway, the whole point of this would be to record all the types of furni that have been in the Habbo's hand/inventory. It would originally have a list of every type of furni on the hotel split into the categories, 'norms', 'collectibles' and 'rares'. (The norms would probably just contain each name once disregarding colour variations; for example, a red rug and a blue rug are both just called "Soft Wool Rug", so this would just appear once).
The Furnidex could possibly change the way Habbo is played. Rather than always collecting as many Thrones or whatever supers as possible just to gain control of its value, people would be more inclined to try and complete their Furnidex. Obviously to do so, you must constantly buy and sell furni for other furni that you need to complete it.
This may also have an interesting effect on rare values because someone who needs just one more item for instance, to complete their Furnidex, would be willing to trade a lot more than the usual value. As values would be more unique to the person, i.e. what they believe the item is worth, this in turn would make people more aware that guides such as Habbox are just that - a guide, and not a bible.
Of course, it would also have a widget on Habbo Homes and badges/awards etc and possibly even a leaderboard could obviously be incorporated into it.
What do you think?![]()
