    Default New hard drive.

I want a new hard drive, atm ive got a measly 40GB one lol.
I dont want to spend loads and loads of money on one but Pro-Alex said I can pick a 1tb hard drive up for about £50.

Anyone know best places to buy, either online or in shops.

I've bought from all, decent prices and haven't had a fault.

Yeah can get 1TB for quiet cheap, have a look at the sites above.

If your current drive is 40GB then I'd make the assumption that it's an IDE drive. The maximum capacity IDE drives are 750GB (as far as I know) which are fairly expensive.

There's also the issue of whether your case has the space to fit another hard drive or your motherboard can take another.

Maybe an ext would be easier?

That's about £35 I think, which is a pretty good price.

Oh crap o_O can only be shipped in the USA, but Amazon are reasonable with their prices.

If you're not particularly "computery" then yes.

Joe, I suggest getting an external hard drive. I know what you are like with computers!! Haha.
