Arcade resetting

Another idea. Recently I've been using the arcade a bit more seeing as I have a lot more free time due to summer holidays. I've been using the arcades on a few forums to pass the time.

Anyway, whilst using it I remember the scores being reset. I remember I did it in 2008 when I was AGM and was quite a popular change and saw an outburst of activity in the arcade where everyone tried to get the high scores. The announcement can be found by clicking here.

In the announcement it says it will be reset regularly so people aren't put off by the high scores and just to ensure it remains active and fundamentally it just makes it more fun.

So yeah, I think they should be reset again. Maybe we could see it as a Sunday update? Only takes seconds

add more games because there is only like 15-20 maybe less

Yeah, I was supposed to do that back when I was staff, I resigned soon after. I think some have been added since then though, can't remember.

I'm all for this

Some of the scores are way too hard to beat, and more games would make it better and have more variety.

Maybe there could be 10-20 new games added now, then at the end of each month there's a poll to replace 5 or 10 of the old games with the same amount of new ones, or just keep adding more and more but then it'l become over-run

Well we have other plans to start boosting activity in the arcade right now (the beat the GM thing *may* be expanded to Beat the Champ)

And for that we need the current highscore people. After a while that might be flipped around and we may reset scores but not right now.
