Mining Coal vs Anything else

Is coal the quickest way to get gp from mining? Or should I be mining something else?

The quickest way mining coal is via the mining guild both F2P and P2P.

A good way of training it quickly while making money is gold (P2P). You put your house in Karamja, wearing a ring of duelling/amulet of glory. Teleport to your house, exit and run north to the mine mine a full load following the horseshoe shape, teleport away using ring of duelling to caltlewars/glory to Edgeville and bank then teleport to hous and start again.

The absolute quickest XP in mining is very boring and requires a lot concentration and is no profit. Powermine iron south of the fishing colony (P2P).

Edit: Oh, I see you want money not XP. Gold or coal I don't know. Mining isn't a particularly good money maker as P2P compared to other things. As F2P then probably coal in the mining guild if you find a quiet world.

Coal doesn't sell. I bought about 1k of it for minimum price in the G.E. Try mining Adamantite. You're level 81, addy is level 70 min and sells for 1k per ore. 28k per load.

Do this with mining
Requirements: Level 30 Smithing, and Level 30 Mining

Firstly do the Quest "Dwarf Cannon".

Mine 2.5k Iron and 5k Coal
and then furnace them into 2.5k Steel Bars

1 Steel Bar = 4 Cannon Balls

Cannon Balls are 236gp ea(approx)

236 x 10k = 2360000 = 2.3mil
