Speed 2, for lack of a better word, sucks!

Speed was a great film though, so I had good expectations for Speed 2.. even without Keanu Reeves I thought it was going to be okay as Sandra Bullock returned.. but I didn't even know about the sequel till a few years back and it's well over 10 years old now, so that should of really said something. Nevertheless, I have both on dvd and they are at least watchable.. better than some other stuff.

I agree with Misawa, horror films now are much more style over substance than their counterparts from the 70s and 80s. That's why they're constantly remaking those films instead of actually coming up with new ones.

Friday The 13th Remake was good, My Bloody Valentine was about 6/10.

2 of the scariest films I've seen are Mirrors and Haunting in Connecticut.

Haunting in Connecticut I thought wasn't that good. I haven't seen Mirrors yet.
