Virgin Media router problems...

Hey, well I've got fibre optic with Virgin Media and they installed it yesterday. Connection from the modem to my PC works perfectly, hence I'm online now. However, when setting up the wireless Netgear router I encounter a problem.

I've installed the wireless management software, done everything as it says (connected the modem to the router, turned the power on, put an ethernet cable from the router to my PC), however it can't find my adapter (on the software). Vista connects to the router and is connected locally, but it's not allowing my PC to connect to the internet.

I've looked on VM's website, no use. Any help please?

For some reason it has decided to finally work, no idea why. I'm doing it without the VM software though.
