Default Might be getting a new "job"

You know them tv programs like "how clean is your house?" etc and they go round cleaning proper disgusting houses? I might be doing that. My parents have started to get even cheaper houses and they are to bad for the people to come in and put new carpets down/paint etc so I'll basically have to get them into a state that is acceptable for work. It won't just be me, my parents will pay my friend to help as well with him wanting to earn some money. What do you think about my new job? It isn't too late to say that I don't want to do it but I'm sure it won't be that bad so why not?

No we won't be painting/doing the flooring we will be "cleaning" the houses so they are acceptable for the painters and carpet fitters etc to come in and do their thing.

I haven't left school yet. This would just be a temp thing to help out, it's not about the money.

Yeh your right about them having to pay other people to do it, the houses really would be in a state though and I'm sure there will be some real disgusting ones but I think I can handle it. All I know is that the houses are just too horrible for people to come in and work on them.

you'll be supprised at what you'll find. I do part-time labouring and when we get a house that wants an extension, we sometimes have to lift carpets. We lifted this one carpet, it had never been cleaned in the whole 5 years it had been there, lifted it and the flooring underneath had rotted, maggots, and everything had nested on the damped out wood.

sounds easy but seeing that almost made me sick.

Before the economy tanked we used to buy cheap houses, then fix them up and sell them. Now we just have apartment buildings, what a nightmare!
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.
