**** aussies suck. why couldnt it rain for once when england was winning?
Overall Australia have been better, but when they have been bad, they have been so bad that its cost them the match.
I think, looking at the teams, Australia stand a much better chance in the ODI's. Then again, both the teams haven't been doing that great lately in ODI's anyway.
When does that start? Well done England on winning the Ashes. Nice to see a new cap do so well.
@blinger - there is always another day and I am sure they will be back to their winning ways.

Australia was def the better team out of the two. Even if we did lose. Look at the statistics, i just hope we kick your arse in the ODI so TheWolf isn't so cocky.
Au only won when England had a bad day? When we blowed or batted well we were on top. On paper AU may be better. We'll see how your OD team is
Oh really? We would have won if the weather didn't screw us over..
Really, you weren't. Statistics don't lie..
Look at the statistics (the top 3) the only one where England is on top was the batting and that wasn't even impressive.
HAHAHA, stats mean nothing, even your captain said we deserved to win, and your whole team admitted the best team won. :8 :eusa_danc an lol, i'm cocky, all Australians are cocky, the AU Media were even writing England off, because they thought AU were back to 'Business as usual' ~ we showed them alrite.
@Catzsy, it starts next Sunday.
lol blinger, still trying to get your argument across when it's wrong, who's the team with the ashes? oh england yea.

Add me if you play COD Black Ops or Fifa 11.
One of the main things that has won it for England was that first test down at Cardiff. The grit and determination from Colly shed light towards Jimmy and Monty and thus them blocking out those final 11 overs.
England had 2 or 3 good spells with the ball from Flintoff 5WI at Lords and Broads 5WI at the oval which has effectively won us back the ashes.
It has been a great series but lets not get carried away, we need to improve on this unlike 2005. SA coming up and if we win that then we can build on to bigger and better things.
18 months time England will be ready, mark my words.
Edit: i forgot to mention, Well done to the Australia team, gracious in defeat which is a good thing. It will be a shame if Ricky Ponting doesnt come back to England for another Ashes series as the battles have always been intriguing.
So thank you australia for such a good series.
also Good luck for Flintoff with his operation tonight
