And is it just me who can't think of any stand-out players aside from Gerrard, Torres and Mascherano for Liverpool? I mean, United seem to have strength in depth, Chelsea maybe even more so, Arsenal have quality youngsters and even 2 of their arguably best players back from injury. I cant understand how Liverpool would get 5 stars.
Fifa give players potential for their improvements in MM.
They won't be highly rated. He's only like 17.

And look above regarding Liverpool... lol.

Liverpool have a few people that can get them 5 stars. Reina, Johnson, Carragher, Masc, Gerrard, Aquilani, Torres. That's enough to get 5. Wilshire will probably be high 70's but will be a good talent for Manager mode as said above.

Yeah, I meant his initial stats, you arse. Otherwise I might as well say Frazier Campbell is the best player in the game. Because if I went on amatuer setting I can soon make him the best player in the game by using the Be a Pro Mode.

Besides, you need to rate a team on their individuals, not the team's performance.

Aquilani is piss. Reina and Carragher are overrated. Even though Johnson is the best English RB, it doesn't mean he's good. High 70s? He's 17! 73 is a good rating for a player that young for manager mode.

Aquilani isn't that bad, probably in the top 5 players for Liverpool. I know most teams would like to have him. Reina is a decent keeper and Carragher isn't overrated, he's very dedicated and a decent defender. Johnson is a good RB imo, he is very attacking and has skill for a RB which works very well with some teams. Just because he's 17 doesn't mean he won't be rated highly. I'm not saying in the 80's, but between 75-79 probably. I did say 80 in my first post I think but I'd take that down to about 77.

If anything, Liverpool with have lost quality, by selling Alonso and replacing him with Aquilani. Decent doesn't make Liverpool five stars. Jaaskelinan is decent. Schwarzer is decent. Dedicated arharhar. He's still not a Ferdinand, a Vidic, a Terry, a Pepe or even a Maicon. And ok, I'll admit Johnson is one of the best, I'll give you that.

Higher than 75 is ridiculous. Yes, it does. In the game's mind it does. Very rarely, if at all, will you find a player under 18, with OVR of over 75.

I was practically agreeing with you you retard.

But no, you can't just make players great because one of the new features is the emphasis on potential, which is what I was saying about MM idiot.
