maybe start on his first book carrie - it's quite easy to get into and a great storyline, even if it's sombre.
then after that try one of his longer reads such as IT etc.

His best work is It in my opinion. I'd avoid Cell if I were you. I've no idea what happened to him when he wrote that.
even though King wasnt all too chuffed at the way the film version turned out the Shining makes for good reading.
something.
I'd recommend Desperation, can't remember when he wrote it but he released two at the same time that portrayed opposite sides of a dimension etc. I didn't think I would like it to begin with, but once I got into it it turned out to be quite good.
*Oh, I would also recommend The Dead Zone, not as good, but I really loved the ending*
I've only read Carrie by Stephen King but I've seen the movies:
The Shining
Carrie
Green Mile
Pet Cemertary
Christine
1804 (something like that)
+ a short story about an obese man
I don't really understand most of the books so the movies are really good and easier to follow.
xox
the only thing stronger than fear is hope
I'm surprised misery hasn't been mentioned. I found that a good read
