D-Link port forwarding

Hi, ive got a d-lin router version DSL-2640R

I have tried the portforward guide and it did nothing to utorrent.

Has anyone else had any problems with this before?

I have a feeling its the IP address input. It asks for private IP and I entered the external network one, should I have entered the 192.168.1.2 one or similar??

The download was on over 100kbps earlier but now its at only 2kbps.

Any advice as I need this download quickly to test the new graphics card

If it's just a one off, you could add your computer to the DMZ which would open all ports.

I have fixed this now, added both internal and external IP to the port forwarding and then restarted the router
