Rite, well I thought that I had cancelled my direct debit that was coming out on monday. Well anyway, i just got in from school and I got a letter from Lloyds saying that £15 was tried to be taken from my account by so and so. I obviously only had 7p in my account because my unplanned overdraft is £14.93.

Basically, will my bank charge me for the unplanned overdraft. It said no money has been taken and that it will try every so often over the next 5 days. So ye, dont know what to do?

Get the £15 in the bank. They will charge you a certain amount for every week you stay in the negative I think. Depending on your bank.

Unplanned overdraft? Do you just mean having insufficient funds in the account? My bank (Halifax) just throw a £30 charge at me if I'm a penny short .

I was told they're not even allowed to charge or charge that much.. I'm not sure.
