Hi PureGenius here. I'm wondering about this habbit I have got into over the last few weeks or so.
To cut long story short:
Everytime I got to bed I must ensure everything is to my satisfaction. For instants: If a pile of my clothes are in a heap I must fold them up. If I try to think to myself "let's not fold them up tonight" whenever I'm lying in my bed I always think about them not being folded and fold them.
To clear this is up I don't care what everything is like in the day it's just at night when I go to sleep. I think it maybe because I am worried of not sleeping. Another issue I have is my toothbrush must be completely straight or I will worry about it not being straight when I try to get to sleep. In the day I couldn't care less if it was straight or not.
Is this just me getting worried that I won't sleep or is there any disorder to what I'm doing.
Comments/replies are appreciated.

. The one thing to ask is do you feel you have continually check them afterwards to see if its right? If you don't then its probably just a habit. But if you are worried about it though, go see your local GP, they should be able to diagnose it or take you to someone who can.

. That comment "it could be minor ocd but you should try and force yourself out of it quickly before it becomes a permanent habit" is making me really determined now :eusa_danc
