I use to love there music :eusa_dancIrish girlband B*Witched have confirmed they are to release their third album next year.
The “worst kept secret” was finally confirmed by group member Edele Lynch on her Twitter page this afternoon.
However the group, which officially split in 2002, will return as a trio following former member Sinead O'Carroll’s decision not to join Lynch, her sister Keavy and Lindsay Armaou.
Speaking to Buzzjack, Edele said Sinead’s decision almost halted their plans.
“At first it did, but we all spoke about it and Sinead told us if we felt it was the right time then go for it. We have no hard feelings with Sinead (it was rumoured we didn't get on!) we're extremely happy for her!”
The group who scored four number one singles and two top five albums are now recording their third album.
“It will be a completely different sound. A lot more mature!
“We have an amazing history which has our backs but we won't be relying on C'est La Vie to get us back in to the market. When you hear our new sound you'll know that B*Witched will stand out again!”
Not all recent comeback’s have been as successful as Take That’s and Edele admits it could go either way for the trio.
“It's very nerve wrecking and I won't be naive because we could quite possibly flop but we're trying to be positive and bring back that 90's sound which has already started to make a come back in my opinion!”
The Boyzone comeback for Keavy and Edele’s brother Shayne may also have been a source of inspiration.
“Definitely the lads comeback was amazing and Shayne even suggested a B*Witched come back!” Edele said.
