    That may well be true seeing as it'd be difficult to destroy the physical servers, however to disconnect The Pirate Bay it's just the simple case of cutting some cables

    rofl, thats amazing. i recon thats *****'s dream to be in enuf revenue to be able to afford it, as im sure they arnt cheap putting themself on the line for a mighty jail fine if they get done by police surely?

    tpb servers are all over the world, law can fight it but will never completely finish it.

    once the tpb get enough money, they can go buy there own island and not allow peoples on it

    Ownership and who was jailed is about as puzzling as their set-up.

    Basically some people who ran TPB got sent to jail but aren't in jail yet, also the people who are buying TPB still haven't and it seems unlikely to happen for some time. Meanwhile all the owners have is a fine.
