    I know.

The threads not based on that, but I think it was a fair celebration. No-one deserves abuse as bad as he recieved on that day, and it would take a lot of professionalism to overcome such abuse, which Adebayor (as everyone says) doesn't have. He recieved a yellow card which can be fair enough, but the FA kind of bended the rules by still giving him a 2 match suspension and £25,000 fine.
No, but I'm making a point. You're making it out as if you're impressed by Dunne's professionalism. Which must mean you're unimpressed by Adebayor's lack of? Correct?

Because I am impressed by Dunne's professionalism. Also the two players were in completely different situations. If Arsenal didn't sing abuse about Adebayor and his family, do you think he would have done that celebration to them?...

He may of played 10 years for us, and yes hes been great. But the way he left us just leaves the majority of villa fans angry, he said he wanted to go to a champions league club, fair enough he would still be respected but to go on a join manchester city who wasn't even in the europa just doesnt makes sense.

anyhow, the media didn't seem to pick up at the end of the game when he clapped the holte end and he receieved a really good applause back

You tell me? I was there and I can't remember singing anything towards him, and if we did it was nothing compared to what Arsenal sang...

Don't get me wrong, I don't blame you for booing him etc. But we lost Shaun Wright-Phillips to Chelsea for money too, yet we still respected and sang for him. I can't compare Shauny too much though as he went to a much better club, whereas Barry took a step down, but City are looking for Champions League Football and to go far in it.

The media are very unreliable. One newspaper said that once Dunne scored all the City fans went silent and were gutted, when we were clearly chanting his name like he scored for us? :S lol.

You've gotta be kidding me... Too many people with an attitude along the lines of "Gotta keep everyone happy" on here.

Comparison to Villa last year, they were the better side you have to admit Matty. We might be better now? But Villa were close to Champions League, and are instead in the Europa League, whereas were in neither. Part of the reason he joined us is money, the other for the future.

Barry did take a step down. He might never get the opportunity to play champions league football now.

You say he joined for the future, it wouldnt suprise me if he was flogged off and someone better bought.

I'm guessing it was exactly the same 'song'. It is sung about the man wherever he goes and was original 'thought up' by the yids.

It was obvious from the day he signed that he would achieve more here than he would at Villa so I can't see how missing out on the UEFA Cup for a year (which his ex manager didn't want last season when he was targeting the top four so fielded his RESERVES) for a few cups.

I mean, if his ex-manager didn't want it last season so opted to get knocked out in order to try and get top four whats the point in staying at Villa to keep on getting knocked out of the UEFA Cup on purpose to attempt to get top four when he could easily get it as well as maybe winning the league cup on the way?

See above. His ex gaffer didn't want it last year so why should Barry want it this year when next year he'll probably be in Chumps league.

City fans didn't sing about Ade because up to this year we had an alright relationship with Arsenal because when we used to be a poor side it was always refreshing watching Arsenal play football. If it did get heated we'd sing about Van Persie and the girl saying no.
