It looks alright, but that to me would be my type of 'prototype' layout. You've got too much White, and other plain colours which are off-putting to me. I'd personally give this a 6/10 for being a finished layout, however if you keep working on it I'm sure you can get a good thing going!

hmm... has a lot of potential. Add more background colours, and just random filler content and images to make it more appealing and I will give you about an 8
