Best way to clean discs ?

Hey,

Okay, well basically for some reason I fancied going on GTA IV today. So I was playing it from the start, and every so often the disc was unreadable. So I just restarted xbox and tried again.

Now on the "first date" at bowling, as soon as i go to the alley it is unreadable every time. There are no major scratches, only a few specs.

I've put some Mr.sheen foamy stuff on it and rubbed with microfiber cloth (circular (apparently it messes it up?) ).

Anyway, this aside; what's the best way to clean the discs ?

Get a proper disc cleaner set? Also are you sure its the disc? Could be the xbox.

Yeah but cod 5 did this quite a bit aswell as guitar hero and lost oddessy everythin else worked fine

Just take it to game or somewhere to get it checked

i wouldn't reccommend that method to anyone, i would prefer you to go gamestation and pay £1.99 or buy a machine, this broke 3 of my discs (toothpaste)

i would recemmend going to a games shop / pc shop and buy a cd cleaning set ^.^
