    Default Al Megrahi has died

Al Megrahi the Lockerbie Bomber freed in the Summer has died of terminal cancer it seems.

Relatively small amount of information available on this for the moment but it's very likely seeing as he only had weeks/months to live.

Sky News have cheekily changed the news report rather than apologising for their false claims.

Turns out he's still alive, sorry guys.

He surely can't be that bad and evil if Gordon Brown and the Scottish 'government' released him.. oh wait.

they didn't actually have that much evidence to prove he did it..

I'm afraid I trust the courts over Gordon Brown and the Scottish 'government'. The man confessed, and yes there are conspiracy therioes floating around, however I accept the verdict as I do not know the full extent on the story and none of us do, he murdered hundreds therefore he dies in prison here, where he was sentenced.

    but it wasn't proven
thus letting him free when he is about to die cant be seen as such a bad thing

I don't understand why people have an issue with CRIMINALS dying in prison? They committed the crime and it was their decision, if you murder someone, you expect if your caught to get send down for like, you can't then at the end of you life (and sentence) say "Oh I'm sorry I thought I wouldn't get life, can I leave to see my family before i die" do you? and you don't get released!
