Ooh seems like this was a good match to buy Good on Haye. Out of intrest, is this the top belt that he won? I know there are lots of belts in Boxing but not sure which is the biggest?

it was a boring match tbh.

12th round was the best round out of the lot, Haye had Valuev wobbling.

LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. Been waiting to do that since you posted those comments, now I can rub it in your face.

Anyway, boring fight, last 4 rounds were the best. Haye injured ir right hand in the first couple of rounds and was fighting with only his left hand throughout the majority of the fight, that's how easy it was for him. He even nearly knocked Valuev out in the last round, was so close.

Told youuuuuuuuuuuuu, I think I was the only one in this thread who predicted a Haye win.

Walked into that one And as I said above, I was joking with the Haye getting knocked out straight away comment.

I admit I was surprised he got the points decision, but he did deserve it, I just didn't think he'd get it in Germany. Fair play to the judges for not being corrupt. (if you know anything about boxing you'll know judges can be swayed quite easily.)

    It wasn't.

And to answer your question, there are 4 major Heavyweight boxing championships. Haye won the WBA title, and the other 3 are held by these russian brothers whos names escape me.

Anyway, no way did Haye win that by 4 rounds. Not a chance. Pritty dull match and Haye wasted alot of oppurtunities, and was so cocky. Wasn't really that impressed myself. But, he won so I guess that's got to be appreciated.

WBC, WBO, WBU, WBA world titles at every weight (there are also Intercontinental titles called the IBO and IBU, but they are only minor, e.g. Ricky Hatton geld the IBO belt at light-welter, but he was the best at his weight so at that time the IBO belt was the most sought after belt), the two MAIN titles are WBC and WBA, which are the most prestigious, and I think you are on about the Klitchsko's? (Vladamir (holds WBU&WBC belts) and Vitali (holds WBO belt) - Haye was meant to fight Vitali Kitchkso's in July (for the WBO belt), on Setanta, but Setanta went bust so it had to be called off, thus meaning this fight took place.

Also, Haye didn't impress you because he's sprained his right wrist, so Haye was practically fighting the majority of the fight with only his left hand and a numbed up right hand. Was a dull fight, but against someone that big there was never really going to be much action, because if they got into a scrap then the only winner would have been Valuev.
