All flashed Xbox's WILL be banned eventually. Apparantly 1,000,000 people have been banned according to the BBC. (If you trust the BBC that is.)

Your all getting off lightly in my opinion. Anyone with a flashed Xbox has basically committed a criminal offence.

I know about four people whose xbox's have all been banned. Luckily for me, I never flashed my xbox because I knew of the consequences etc. My mate offered to fix my xbox (which has been broken for 4 months) and to flash it for just £20 a month ago, thank god I said no. I've sent my xbox off last week and I'm expecting it in the next week or two. Good to have it back with no cost.

Oh and everyone with flashed xbox's will eventually all be caught. It also doesn't entirely depend if you play a game early before its release. One mate of mine without a flashed xbox, recieved CoD:MW2, five days before its due date of release. It was messed up though as the box was German with 'Not Available In The UK' on the back and the disc was just a massive age rating 18. I just feel sorry for my mate who has a chipped xbox and due to have is live account back up as it ran out a couple of weeks ago. Poor guy is gonna get banned immediately and only found out the worry today when one of my mates got banned last night. Guess there still banning people even now.

I know, haha. People that don't have a clue, and try to educate people on nonsense frys my brains so much. I've not heard much about the new firmware, whats your source? I'm not gonna get another Xbox flashed until after christmas, I'm happy with MW:2 atm.
