Yes, of course FIFA 10 will be a lot different to FIFA 97, but it has been a gradual change spread over the space of more than a decade. It's not like picking up a completely new game, in terms of controlling it.

The fact is FIFA 09 ad 10 are rubbish.

You do know it's not the game messing up? it's you controlling it. If you do it correctly it'll do what you want it to do.

No your wrong completely lol. Look on the forums and you'll see there are over 100 bugs in the game that have been listed. The bugs aren't anything to do with the controls they are to do with the gameplay and small things that haven't been fixed yet. The glitches don't stop me from winning but they are annoying as they take something away from the game for example things in the MM are messed up along with the weather and other things.

How come then thousands and thousands still continue to play this awful game? When I play, I have no problem. Yes, there are some flaws but you get used to them. If the ball hits the ref then just make up for it, if the keeper comes out then so be it, just go score another goal.

That doesn't change the fact it's such an unrealistic football game. Especially compared to its predecessors.

tbh, i don't play it long enough to find flaws. i played it a lot before mw2 came out, and liked it. but now only play it occasionally. it does it's job, playing against family members on live or what not.
