Well, you can always check before you order.

But if you're with a company like I mentioned then there won't usually be a release fee.

But release fee's aren't usually more than £4, unless for some reason they've increased there prices since a friend of mine last used it.

If you buy goods online from a country outside the European Union, for instance the USA, Canada, China, Australia

You will be charged:

• Customs duty if the amount of duty is €10 (£7) or over
• Import VAT if the value of the goods is €22 (£18) and over
• Excise duty for some goods like alcohol and tobacco

I think they hold the parcel then send you a letter to your house and you pay by cheque/card and once you've paid they release it.

I dont even think I own a cheque book. I doubt the fee will be over £10 though, right?

Oh yeah, less then a tenner for a small amount of duty tax.
