Ye met a couple of people.

One of the first I met, in Bristol, turned out to be not what he said he was though.

He did inappropriate things, but it hasn't put me off.

I've met people I've spoken to online at events and stuff that we all happened to be going to, but I have never gone out of my way to meet someone. If we were going to be at the same place at the same time I wouldn't mind meeting up though.
